  1. I think this is a really good picture about your last post. When your therapist asks you to think of how you were as a child, it’s not to open things up and have them spill out. It’s to have you have some empathy for yourself so that you can begin to understand why you feel the way you do about yourself now.

      Thanks Paul,

      Having empathy for myself is a big problem I think. Sometimes I think, “Oh things weren’t that bad.” So there’s nothing to feel empathy about. I know it’s minimalizing of course.
